Membership

Becoming a member in the Chado Association of Philadelphia (CAP) is a great way to stay in touch with the tea ceremony community in this area.

If you are a member of the association at any level, you will automatically receive invitations to all association events as well as newsletters by mail and/or e-mail. So if you're not actively taking lessons (or if you've never studied at all) but would like to come and share tea with us, becoming an associate member will keep you on our contact list.

We have several types of membership:

• Regular Member ($25): For active practitioners
• Associate Member ($15): For those interested in tea
• Student ($15): Full-time students who are actively taking lessons
• Household ($35)
• Institutional ($50)

The CAP is a 501(c)3 nonprofit association, and any additional donations will not only make us smile, but are tax-deductible. If you'd like to donate money, just click on the button below.

You can join in one of two ways:

1. Download our membership form and mail in it with the memberhship fee (if you have any problems downloading the form, e-mail us at info@phillytea.org and we'll send one to you). Click here to download the form.

2. Fill out the form below and send us a payment via PayPal. Once you fill out and submit the form below, you will be directed to a page that links you to our PayPal account. If you have any problems with that link, please contact us.
